announced that is it bringing instant messaging to Xbox. Given the intense competition between console providers (Microsoft, Sony and Nintento), this will allow Microsoft to create additional stickiness to their platform. This feature should be particularly attractive for mult-player games where they compete as a team. They are planning to add voice chat soon.
