So HP is planning to buy EDS for $13.25 billion dollars. Facing competition from the likes of IBM and Accenture on one hand and Indian IT vendors like TCS, Wirpo, Infosys and Cognizant on the other hand, this seems like a logical move to provide scale. While customers may like it, the increasing commodotization of services may not be appealing to investors.

Hi Bala:
I could have emailed you, but this is more fun.
You may have covered this in class in mod 3, but how does a startup typically find the right outsourcing partners when developing software or anything else for that matter? I've heard of startups posting a project on a website where engineers bid to get the job.
Enjoy your summer!

Joe,
Sites like Guru.com help you find vendors. Our own
Babson students have created a company (verego) for a more hands on approach.
